• Course content progresses from beginner to advanced level; fees are adjusted according to level
• Besides long-term courses, short-term courses and a custom song-choice service are also available — content is adjusted flexibly to each student’s needs
• Flagship courses: 1-on-1 in-person lessons (acoustic guitar / electric guitar / Ukulele / singing / music theory); small groups of 2-4 are also run regularly
• 1-on-1 / 2-3 people / 4-6 people — fees are due before the first lesson to confirm enrollment; a receipt will be issued 🧾
• Grade exam courses: after Miss Jen’s assessment, students have a 100% grade exam pass rate (the teacher assesses each student’s ability and progress)

2Payment Schedule

• Tuition is paid every 4 lessons; the next block of fees is due on the day the 4th lesson finishes
• Fees are non-refundable once enrolled; a receipt can be issued on request (stamped with the official JEN.MUSIC.ART seal)
• Each block of 4 lessons must be completed within 3 months, otherwise lessons will be automatically deducted
• Newly enrolled students are asked to pay promptly to confirm their place

3Leave & Make-up Lessons

• Students may take one day of leave per month; additional leave requires an early make-up arrangement
• Same-day absence cannot be made up unless it is sick leave
• Personal leave requires at least 3 days’ notice, and a make-up lesson will be arranged
• Sick leave should be notified at least 12 hours in advance for a make-up lesson to be arranged; under 12 hours’ notice counts as a same-day absence — please discuss special circumstances with Miss Jennifer Wong
• Please be punctual for booked lessons; late arrivals may not be entitled to a make-up for the missed time
• Adult students on shift work can arrange lesson times directly with Miss Jennifer Wong; students unable to attend weekly, please discuss scheduling with the teacher

6Studio Facilities, Student Etiquette & After-class Support

• Studio guitars and microphones are available for students to use during lessons
• Guitar students are asked to trim their nails before class
• If needed, students may WhatsApp Miss Jen after class with questions or a video of a tricky passage; as she is often teaching, reply times vary but she replies as soon as she sees the message (WhatsApp: 90237163)
• Prospective students can book lessons via WhatsApp, and 1-on-1 WhatsApp support is available after class

8Who It’s For & Teaching Languages

Miss Jen’s students include children under 12 (local and international schools), secondary school students (local and international), adults, and seniors. The youngest student is 2.5 years old and the oldest is 68; international students are also welcome.

Concise teaching notes are provided with every course. Classes cover school music exam preparation, hobby classes, recorded and in-person instrument exams, and school band show preparation.

Students come from all kinds of backgrounds: complete beginners, those with Grade 5-8 piano, some with drumming experience, Grade 7-8 vocal students, students who’ve played Ukulele for 3-4 years or guitar for 4-5 years, as well as drum teachers, piano teachers and students with perfect pitch. Everyone learns from each other, and Miss Jennifer teaches every student with care — from complete beginner to performance-grade repertoire, or a self-chosen piece.
